In filmmaking, the rough cut is the second of three stages of offline editing. The rough cut is the first stage in which the film begins to resemble its final product. Rough cuts do not flow well and still undergo many changes before the release of the film.

Rough Cut (; lit. "A Movie is a Movie") is a 2008 South Korean action crime film. It is the debut feature of director Jang Hoon and based on an original story by Kim Ki-duk. The film had a total of 1,307,688 admissions nationwide.
Rough Cut is an album released by the Pakistani pop singer, Hadiqa Kiyani in collaboration with guitarist Aamir Zaki. It was released in March 2007, but Rough Cut failed to perform on the charts and did not sell as much as Kiani's older works. Many experts have said that since an overwhelming majority of people in the country do not understand English the album did not sell as well.
