Lipstick is a cosmetic product containing pigments, oils, waxes, and emollients that apply color, texture, and protection to the lips.

Many colors and types of lipstick exist. As with most other types of makeup, lipstick is typically, but not exclusively, worn by women. The use of lipstick dates back to medieval times. Some lipsticks are also lip balms, to add color and hydration.

Lipstick (film)

Lipstick is a 1976 American rape and revenge thriller film directed by Lamont Johnson and starring Margaux Hemingway, Chris Sarandon, and Anne Bancroft. Mariel Hemingway also has a supporting role as Margaux's onscreen sister. The film follows a fashion model who is raped by her sister's music teacher. Upon his release from jail, he rapes her sister, leading her to enact a brutal revenge.

Lipstick (Alesha song)

Lipstick is the eleventh studio album recorded by Mexican singer Alejandra Guzmán. It was released on March 23, 2004. Was produced by Desmond Child, William Edwards and Jules Gondar.

This album shows a darker image for the singer leading it to be panned by the critics, and was not as successful as other releases, however it managed to receive two Latin Grammy award nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Solo Performance. Also received a Grammy Nomination for Best Latin Rock/Alternative album, the second American Grammy nomination for the singer and the first since 1992 when her album Flor de Papel was nominated.

The album yielded two singles: " Lipstick" and " Tu Eres Mi Luz".

Lipstick (Alejandra Guzmán song)

"Lipstick" is the title of the first single released from the album of the same name by Mexican singer Alejandra Guzmán in 2004. The song was written by Desmond Child, Lisa Greene, Roger Rusell, Ernest Newsky, N.C. Thanh and Storm Lee and translated to Spanish by Alejandra Guzmán and Jodi Marr. The track was also recorded in English and this version is included on the album.

The song was not as successful as any first single from Guzman's albums because presented a very different sound to her music, however with this track, the singer (along with all the songwriters) received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song, losing to "Eres" by Café Tacuba.

Lipstick (, Uruuliin budag) is a Mongolian all-female band. Lipstick's music varies between melodic pop songs, R&B, and pumping disco beats. They were formed on March 1, 1999. The next year they won the Pentatonic award, a national rock and pop music award, as the best debut band. Since then they have received several other prominent awards for their work and were very successful with the younger generation in Mongolia from 1999 to 2002. They all sing and play instruments such as keyboard, solo guitar, bass guitar and drums. They also used traditional instruments such as the Shanz (a 3-stringed plucked musical instrument) and the Yatga (a kind of zither) for their music, e.g. in the songs Khüree khüükhnüüd 'City ladies' and Sarnai tsetseg 'Rose'. As of 2007, the band is inactive, but still widely considered one of the representative Mongolian pop bands.
