Blessed (Beenie Man album)

Blessed is the fifth studio album by Jamaican musician Beenie Man, released in 1995. It is his first album to receive an international release. Blessed gained Beenie Man a large following outside of Jamaica for the first time, setting the stage for his multiple collaborations with some of the biggest American hip hop and R&B stars of the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Blessed is the eleventh album in the live praise and worship series of contemporary worship music by Hillsong Church. It was recorded live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on 3 March 2002 by Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong Worship Team. Blessed saw Marty Sampson step up to lead worship alongside Darlene Zschech and Reuben Morgan for the night. Over 10,000 people from Hillsong Church attended the recording. Blessed is a BBC television sitcom written by Ben Elton and starring Ardal O'Hanlon as Gary, a record producer, who is struggling to bring up two small children. The series was broadcast on BBC One on Friday evenings at 9.00pm between October and December 2005. It featured the lullaby Morningtown Ride as its theme, sung by the cast band. One series of 8 episodes was produced.

"Blessed" is an English language hit single by Lebanese-German singer Fady Maalouf. Maalouf was a contestant in 2008 of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German version of Pop Idol. He sang the song for the first time on 17 May 2008 in the finals of the said competition as the "winner's song" in case he won the competition. He eventually came second (runner up) to winner Thomas Godoj. "Blessed" also appears in Fady Maalouf's debut album also entitled Blessed.

Even though Fady Maalouf did not win the title, his extraordinary voice and his charming personality had, by then, won him the hearts of an enormous fan base, which then, in an unprecedented effort, bombarded Sony BMG with letters, mails and phone calls, all demanding the same - the release of Fady Maalouf’s title "Blessed", performed by him during the final show.

After a contract with Columbia, a subsidiary of Sony BMG Music Entertainment "Blessed" was released on 4 July 2008 as a single and went straight to no. 2 in the German single charts.

Blessed is the third studio album by Nigerian singer Flavour N'abania, released by 2nite Entertainment on October 18, 2012. It features guest appearances from Wizboyy and Fally Ipupa.
