What is "terezin"

Terezín (; ) is a former military fortress composed of citadel and adjacent walled garrison town of Litoměřice District, in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic.

Terezín is a village and municipality ( obec) in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 404 (as at 1 January 2008).

Terezín lies approximately north-west of Hodonín, south-east of Brno, and south-east of Prague.
