Seagram Company Ltd. was a large historical corporation headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada that was the largest distiller of alcoholic beverages in the world. Toward the end of its independent existence it also controlled various entertainment and other business ventures. The Seagram assets have since been acquired by other companies, notably The Coca-Cola Company, Diageo, and Pernod Ricard.

The Seagram Building, the company's American headquarters office tower at 375 Park Avenue in New York City, was designed by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe with Philip Johnson. The former Seagram headquarters in Montreal now belongs to McGill University, under the name Martlet House.

Seagram (rapper)

Seagram Miller (April 13, 1970 – July 31, 1996) was an American rapper from Oakland, California.

Miller released two albums in his lifetime: The hard-edged and violent The Dark Roads and the more typically laid-back west coast style Reality Check. Miller was shot to death in a drive-by shooting on July 31, 1996. The killing remains unsolved. He is interred in the Oakland Bay Area. His first posthumous album titled Souls on Ice was released in 1997. A movie based on his life is being made currently, called Bay Business, with a soundtrack scheduled to be released in September 2016 and a new posthumous album also being released soon.

Aside from his own releases, Seagram is perhaps best known for his collaborations with his labelmates, the Geto Boys.

Seagram (racehorse)

Seagram (c.1980–1997) was a New Zealand racehorse, famous for his victory in the 1991 Grand National sponsored by his namesake Seagram. This was his only notable victory. He came close to winning the Whitbread and was pulled up at the 27th fence in the 1992 Grand National. He lived in retirement until his death at the age of 17.
