The Puli is a small-medium breed of Hungarian herding and livestock guarding dog known for its long, corded coat. The tight curls of the coat, similar to dreadlocks, make it virtually waterproof. A similar-looking, but much larger breed – also Hungarian – is the Komondor. The term used for a group of Puli is Pulik.

Puli (car)

Puli was a microcar made in Hungary by HÓDGÉP of Hódmezővásárhely from 1986.

The car was 2.46 m long and was assembled using parts made by Škoda, Lada and Polski Fiat 126p available at that time in the country. It was propelled by a Diesel engine of 4 kW. The body was made from reinforced glass fibre. It was intended to be exported mainly to France where no driving licence was needed to drive that category of vehicles. The company's profile was agricultural machinery building and did not survive the political-economical transition of Hungary to market economy in the end of the 1980s.

An electrical vehicle was produced in 1991 under the name Puli Pinguin 4.

In 2006 the Puli (car) returned under the ownership of Prokop Gábor. Prokop holds Puli and Wartburg trade marks.

Puli (2010 film)

Puli is a 2010 Telugu action film written and directed by S. J. Surya, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, with Nikeesha Patel, Manoj Bajpayee, Charan Raj, Nassar, Jyothi Krishna, Bhrahmaji, Ali and Girish Karnad in supporting roles and Shriya Saran appearing in an item number. The film features a soundtrack by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by Binod Pradhan. It was produced by famous Malayalam film producer Navodaya Appachan and Singanamala Ramesh on a 400 million budget and was distributed Geetha Arts. The film was released on 10 September. The film was originally titled Komaram Puli but was renamed as Puli on the second day of release, following objections by Komaram Sony Rao, grandson of the tribal legend Komaram Bheem, from whose name the title of the movie was taken. Its Nizam rights were sold to Geetha Arts for which is a record sum. Later dubbed in Hindi as Jaanbaaz Khiladi.

Puli (soundtrack)

Puli is the soundtrack to the 2010 Telugu action film of the same name, directed by S. J. Suryaah and starring Pawan Kalyan. The soundtrack album includes six songs composed by A. R. Rahman and lyrics penned by Chandrabose. The highly anticipated soundtrack album was released on 11 July 2010 by Sony Music. The album was released under the film's working title Komaram Puli, with the title of the film being changed to Puli upon release. The soundtrack album and background score received positive critical reception upon release. It was nominated for various music awards such as Best Music Director and Best Background Score (Rahman), and Best Female Playback ( Shweta Mohan for "Amma Thalle"), but most of the awards in the Best Music Direction and Background Score categories mainly lost to Ye Maaya Chesave, composed by Rahman himself. Shweta Mohan won Best Female Playback for the song "Amma Thalle" in the 2010 Mirchi Music Awards South. Sony Music purchased the Music Rights of the film for which was a record at the time.

Puli ( English: Tiger) is a 1985 Telugu, Action film, produced by Aanam Gopala Krishna Reddy on Sri Venkata Krishna Films banner and directed by Raj Bharat. Starring Chiranjeevi, Radha in the lead roles and music composed by Chakravarthy.

Puli (2015 film)

Puli is an Indian Tamil fantasy- adventure film written and directed by Chimbu Deven. The film features Vijay in a dual role alongside Shruthi Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Sridevi. Sudeep features as the main antagonist of the film including Prabhu and Nandita Swetha in supporting roles. The film is dubbed into Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions were released a day later on 2 October 2015. Produced by Vijay's public relations officer Selvakumar, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, Natarajan Subramaniam as the cinematographer and has T. Muthuraj as the production designer.
