Psychoanaleptic
In pharmacology, a psychoanaleptic is a medication that produces an arousing effect. Psychostimulants (e.g. amphetamines), some antidepressants, nootropics, anti-dementia drugs, and caffeine, are all psychoanaleptics.
The psychoanaleptics are classified under N06 in the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System.
