Cloudian, Inc. (formerly known as Gemini Mobile Technologies) is a US software developing company specializing in cloud technology. Cloudian is headquartered in San Mateo, California, and has offices in Tokyo, Japan and Beijing, China.

Cloudian is a turnkey distributed software defined object storage solution. With Cloudian, Enterprise IT and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) can deploy multi-tenant private and public storage clouds on commodity x86 servers. Cloudian is S3 API compatible, which enables public and private cloud users access to existing S3 applications. Cloudian's software defined solution is always on and highly available with no single point of failure. Cloudian's HyperStore solutions also supports logical storage policies that can be configured with replication or erasure coding. A Cloudian HyperStore administrator can also setup different data consistency levels for the logical storage policies and manage QoS down to the user level. Cloudian has the expandability and flexibility to allow cloud service businesses and enterprises to increase their cluster's stored data size economically to match increases in data volume by adding general-purpose x86 servers.

Cloudian HyperStore implements functions such as statistics and billing, user and group management and usage volume control which are all required for providing services. Cloudian's platform is used to power the storage of private, public and hybrid clouds. Cloudian was launched in early 2011.
