Ayọ (born as Joy Olasunmibo Ogunmakin, 14 September 1980) is a Nigerian-German singer-songwriter and actress. She uses the Yoruba translation Ayọ or Ayo. of her first name Joy.

Her debut album Joyful, which was first released in 2006, reached Double-Platinum status in France, Platinum in Germany and Poland, Gold status in Switzerland and Italy and Greece. The album was released in the United States on 20 November 2007 by Interscope Records.

Ayọ was born in Frechen near Cologne, Germany. She has a son, Nile, who was born in late 2005 and a daughter, Billie-Eve, born July 2010, with the Afro-German reggae singer Patrice, from whom she is now separated. At the end of 2007, she moved with her family to the Greenwich Village section of Manhattan in New York City. At present she lives in Brooklyn, New York with her children.

Then-president of UNICEF France, Jacques Hintzy, announced on 4 February 2009 that the singer was named patron of UNICEF to promote the right to education for all children in the world.

The French production company MK2 produced 2009 the film Ayo Joy a 90-minute documentary about the singer and her life. The film was directed by Raphaël Duroy.

Ayo (; stylized as Ayọ (Joy)) is the self-titled second studio album by Nigerian recording artist Wizkid. It was released on September 17, 2014 by Starboy Entertainment and Empire Mates Entertainment. It is the follow-up to his first album, Superstar, which was released in 2011. The long-awaited album was postponed twice due to difficulty in track selection.

Preceding the album's release were the singles " Jaiye Jaiye", "On Top Your Matter", "One Question", "Joy", "Bombay" and "Show You The Money". As one of the executive producers of the album, Wizkid collaborated with record producers such as Sarz, Shizzi, Uhuru, Del B, Dr Frabz, Maleek Berry, Legendury Beatz and Spellz. The album features guest appearances from Femi Kuti, Seyi Shay, Yemi Sax, Akon, Banky W., Phyno, Tyga and Wale.

Upon its release, Ayo was met with mixed reviews from music critics who had a difference of opinion about the album. Some critics complimented the production, song arrangement and sound quality of the album, while others were disenchanted with the lyrical theme.

"Ayo" is a song by American singer Chris Brown and American rapper Tyga, released as the lead single from their collaboration album Fan of a Fan: The Album. The track was produced by American record producers Mark Kragen and Nic Nac, whom Chris previously worked with on " Loyal".

Critical reception of the song was positive overall, with critics praising its catchy chorus, substantial rap verses, and fun-loving pop appeal while noting its similarities to Brown's 2014 single "Loyal". It was also included on the set list of their 2015 Between the Sheets Tour with Trey Songz.

An accompanying music video was directed by Colin Tilley and filmed in Los Angeles, California. The video features various scenes of Brown and Tyga competing with one another to show off their riches and ends with them drag racing Lamborghinis. It also features cameo appearances by comedian Mike Epps and the dance duo Les Twins. The video received positive responses from critics for its colorful visuals and movie-style format.
