Žalany is a village and municipality ( obec) in Teplice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 516 (as at 20 February 2009).
Žalany lies approximately south-east of Teplice, south-west of Ústí nad Labem, and north-west of Prague.
