What is "xero"

Xero (also styled as Zero, Ziro or Xiro) were an Australian punk rock and new wave band formed in 1978 in Brisbane. They were fronted by mainstay member, Irena Luckus on lead vocals, keyboards and guitar before disbanding in 1983.

Xero was a fanzine edited and published by Dick Lupoff, Pat Lupoff and Bhob Stewart from 1960 to 1963, winning a Hugo Award in the latter year. With science fiction and comic books as the core subjects, Xero also featured essays, satire, articles, poetry, artwork and cartoons on a wide range of other topics, material later collected into two hardcover books.

Xero (usually lettered as Xerø) is a fictional superhero and antihero published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Xero #1, (May 1997), and was created by Christopher Priest and ChrisCross.
