Wanqaran ( Quechua wanqara a kind of drum, -n a suffix, also spelled Huankarán) is an archaeological site with a rectangular tower, a couple of buildings and stone tombs ( chullpa) in Peru. It is situated in the Huánuco Region, Huamalíes Province, Tantamayo District.
