What is "voot"

Voot, launched in March 2016, from the digital arm of Viacom 18, Network 18 Media. It is India’s over-the-top (OTT) TV distribution platform offering LIVE TV and On Demand Content to end consumers on their mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and entertainment boxes, among other devices.

Voot is available across the globe in all international markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Australia and other countries. Voot hosts 895 LIVE TV channels and over 106,000 hours of in Media in India.

Voot offers features such as an elaborative electronic programme guide, a content recommendation engine, a multicurrency payment option and free cash-on-delivery service, all of which will be integral to enhancing the user experience.
