A vapor trail or contrail is a condensation trail made by the exhaust of an aircraft engine.

"Vapor Trail" is a breakbeat single by The Crystal Method from the album Vegas. While not one of the group's most recognizable works, it was chosen by the Donovan Foundation for Electronic Music as the greatest American electronic track of all time in 2013. The song was featured in the promo trailer for the 2008 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, as well as in the film 3000 Miles to Graceland, starring Kurt Russell and Kevin Costner.
A re-working of the song is featured on Chef Aid: The South Park Album album for South Park, retitled "Nowhere to Run" (Vapour Trail) and featuring vocals by DMX, Ol' Dirty Bastard, and Ozzy Osbourne.
