What is "ukrop"

UKROP (; literally " dill") short for the Ukrainian Association of Patriots is a Ukrainian patriotic center-left political party founded on 18 June 2015. Since the 17 July 2016 constituency mid-term elections the party is represented by two seats in the Ukrainian parliament.

The head of the party's political council is oligarch Hennadiy Korban.

UKROP was established on the Ukrainian political landscape in the wake of the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych. The core of the party comprises civil society activists, participants of Euromaidan, volunteers and members of Ukrainian territorial defense battalions.

Name "Ukrop" firstly was Russian slang word, which means Ukrainian. But later, Ukrainians used this word with honor, not with shame.
