Tuhala

Tuhala is a village in Kose Parish, Harju County in northern Estonia. Tuhala is best known for its Witch's Well (officially located in neighbouring Kata village). As of 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 105.

It is believed that settlement in Tuhala dates back around 3,000 years. The village has Estonia's largest area of porous karst, with several underground rivers and sinkholes.

Tuhala (river)

The Tuhala is a river on the Northern part of Estonia. It has its source in the Mahtra Marsh and discharges into the Pirita river. During its 26 km long journey it meets with Tuhala. The catchment area of the river is 112 km.
