Tele-cocooning

Tele-cocooning is a term coined by Ichiyo Habuchi in reference to an expression used to describe the communication of one person to the next without having physical interaction with that person. Communication can be achieved in several ways, not limited to Internet, telephone text messaging, letters and video. The Internet connects billions of people via email and just based on the information that is placed on the Internet. For example, someone in Greece can find out the weather a friend is experiencing in Brazil. The concept of tele- cocooning is what most people choose to use today especially with the more effective forms of technology. These forms allow for quicker and more efficient ways of communicating back and forth.
