Spirit Lake (Washington)

Spirit Lake is a lake north of Mount St. Helens in Washington State. The lake was a popular tourist destination for many years until the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. Prior to 1980, there were six camps on the shore of Spirit Lake: a Boy Scout camp (Columbia Pacific Council), a Girl Scout camp, two YMCA camps (Longview YMCA camp Loowit, and Portland YMCA camp), Harmony Fall Lodge, and another for the general public. There were also a number of lodges catering to visitors, including Spirit Lake Lodge and Mt. St. Helens Lodge; the latter was inhabited by Harry R. Truman, who became one of the volcano's victims.

Spirit Lake (Yukon)

Spirit Lake is a lake in the southern Yukon about 70 km south of Whitehorse. The lake is situated just off the Klondike Highway. The lake has emerald green colors. The distinct crater-like holes on the lake bottom were shaped by glaciers which retreated thousands of years ago.

Spirit Lake (Price County, Wisconsin)

Spirit Lake is a lake in Price County, Wisconsin and Taylor County, Wisconsin that is the source of the Spirit River. It is contiguous and at the same elevation as North Spirit Lake, connected by a narrow channel. The lake features a number of species of recreational fish including muskellunge, panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and walleye.

In 1982 the non-profit Spirit Lakes Improvement Association was established for the purpose of improving the general quality of Spirit Lake and North Spirit Lake.

According to tradition, Spirit Lake received its name from the spirit of a heartbroken Native American woman whose drowning in the lake was intentional. Its surface elevation is above sea level. The lake is about north-northwest of the city of Coeur d'Alene.

The city of Spirit Lake is on a narrow arm of the lake, on its northeast shore.
