Smědčice is a village and municipality ( obec) in Rokycany District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 172 (as at 3 July 2006).
Smědčice lies approximately north-west of Rokycany, north-east of Plzeň, and south-west of Prague.
