Broadbill \Broad"bill`\, n.
(Zo["o]l.) A wild duck ( Aythya marila, or Fuligula marila), which appears in large numbers on the eastern coast of the United States, in autumn; -- called also bluebill, blackhead, raft duck, and scaup duck. See Scaup duck.
