Scarlett (Ripley novel)

Scarlett is a 1991 novel by Alexandra Ripley, written as a sequel to Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind. The book debuted on The New York Times bestsellers list, but both critics and fans of the original novel found Ripley's version to be inconsistent with the literary quality of Gone with the Wind.

It was adapted as a television mini-series of the same title in 1994 starring Timothy Dalton as Rhett Butler and Joanne Whalley-Kilmer as Scarlett O'Hara.

Scarlett (G.I. Joe)

Scarlett is a fictional character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comic book and cartoon series. She is one of the original members of the G.I. Joe Team, and is a major character in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic book series. She has also appeared in G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, in both the animated series and comic book. In the 2009 film, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Scarlett is portrayed by actress Rachel Nichols.

Scarlett (June or July, 1995 – October 11, 2008) was a former stray cat from Brooklyn, New York, whose efforts to save her kittens from a fire attracted worldwide media attention, and have been described in a number of non-fiction books. She has also become a featured animal in the fund-raising and public relations efforts of the shelter that treated her and her kittens, the North Shore Animal League. On October 15, 2008, the League announced that Scarlett had died.

The series was filmed at 53 locations in the United States and abroad, and stars Joanne Whalley-Kilmer as Scarlett O'Hara, Timothy Dalton as Rhett Butler, and Sean Bean as Lord Richard Fenton.

Scarlett (musical)

Scarlett is a musical with a score by Harold Rome. The original Japanese book is by Kazuo Kikuta, and the English version of the book is by Horton Foote. The Tokyo production was directed by American director/choreographer Joe Layton, who later directed a production in the London West End. London producer Harold Fielding cancelled his plans for a 1974 Broadway production, and the musical has never been performed on Broadway.

Based on Margaret Mitchell's bestseller Gone with the Wind, it traces the fate of self-centered Southern belle Scarlett O'Hara and her passionately turbulent relationship with dashing blockade runner Rhett Butler, from the days prior to the American Civil War through the war itself and the following period of Reconstruction.

More recently, its profile has been on the rise due to the fame of the actress Scarlett Johansson. The name was the 17th most popular name given to baby girls in the England and Wales in 2013 and the 30th most popular name given to baby girls in the United States in 2014.

Scarlett is a 2006 novel by Cathy Cassidy. It won the 2007 Royal Mail Award for Scottish Children's Books in the 7–11 age group. It reached number 8 in the Ottakars sales chart for children's books in June 2006. The plot revolves around the 12-year-old girl of the title, who is badly affected by the break-up of her parents. After leading a food fight at school, she is sent from London to live with her father in Ireland.

Scarlett is the second release and first full-length album of indie rock group Spook the Horse released on February 18, 2009. Spook the Horse was selected as one of a handful of local Seattle bands featured in the 2007 release, Volume 5 of DVD music performance series Burn to Shine and features the song Another New Year, also found on the Scarlett release
