Room Service is the seventh studio album released by Swedish pop duo Roxette, on 2 April 2001. The album was a European release only and not released in the United States. The album topped the Swedish charts and reached the upper regions of the charts in many other European countries, peaking at #3 in Germany, and #2 in Switzerland but was largely ignored in the United Kingdom, peaking only at #120 there.
Room Service is a 1938 RKO film comedy starring the Marx Brothers and based on the 1937 play of the same name by Allen Boretz and John Murray. It also features Lucille Ball, Ann Miller, Alexander Asro, and Frank Albertson.
Room Service is the tenth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams. The album was released by Polydor Records on September 10, 2004. Room Service was the first release of new Adams material since the soundtrack album Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron in 2002 and the first studio album in six years since On a Day Like Today. Adams produced the album and co-wrote the album with Gretchen Peters, Nicholas Bracegirdle, Phil Thornalley, Robert John "Mutt" Lange, Eliot Kennedy and Jörgen Elofsson. Similar to Adams previous material, the themes in Room Service are mainly based on romance, love and relationships.
Room Service was a commercial success, peaking at number one in Germany and Switzerland, despite mixed reviews from critics. The album charted in the top ten in seven other territories; its least successful charting area was France, where the album peaked at number two-hundred. Room Service entered the charts in more than 15 countries. The album didn't fare as well in the United States, where it was released by Adams without a record company, but internationally the album sold 3 million copies.
Five songs were released from the album in various forms and at various times: " Open Road", " Flying", " Room Service", " This Side of Paradise" and " Why Do You Have to Be So Hard to Love?, of which the three firsts were released as physical singles internationally and the two later being a radio-airplay singles. The album's first single charted within the top twenty on the Canadian Singles Chart, the second within the top forties in Canada and the top hundred in Europe; "Room Service" was less commercially successful. The album was nominated for two Juno Awards, for "CD/DVD Artwork Design of the Year" and "Artist of the Year".
Room service or "in-room dining" is a hotel service enabling guests to choose menu items for delivery to their hotel room for consumption there, served by staff. Room service is organized as a subdivision within the Food & Beverage Department of high-end hotel and resort properties. It is uncommon for room service to be offered in hotels that are not high-end, or in motels.

Room Service is a play written by Allen Boretz and John Murray. It was originally produced by George Abbott and debuted at the Cort Theatre in New York on May 19, 1937. Its initial production ran for 500 performances, closing on July 16, 1938. The play was revived for a short run of 16 performances in 1953.
RKO Pictures purchased the film rights for a then-record $225,000 and used it as the basis for the Marx Brothers film of the same title. In 1944 RKO released a further film adaptation, a musical entitled Step Lively.
The 1937 production starred Eddie Albert as Leo Davis. The role was played by Jack Lemmon in the 1953 revival. Alexander Asro, who created the role of Sasha Smirnoff, played the same role in both the 1938 film and the revival.
