Right Now is the debut studio album by English girl group Atomic Kitten released originally on 23 October 2000 featuring original member Kerry Katona, following the departure of Katona the album was re-released on 6 August 2001 featuring vocals from Jenny Frost and the singles " You Are" and " Eternal Flame" with additional new tracks featured on the album. The first release of the album originally peaked at number 39, putting the group at risk of being dropped by the record label; the second release peaked at number 1. OMD frontman and Atomic Kitten founder Andy McCluskey was among the album's principal songwriters.

Right Now (Van Halen song)

"Right Now" is a rock song written by the group Van Halen for their album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. The song reflects on living for the moment and not being afraid of making a change. Vocalist Sammy Hagar has said that he was writing the lyrics to this song at the studio very late one night, and he heard Eddie Van Halen in an adjacent room working on a piano melody. Hagar said he suddenly realized that "we were writing the same song," so he walked into the room and began singing his words over Van Halen's music. A version of the melody appears in the 1984 movie The Wild Life which was scored by Eddie Van Halen.

Hagar says the lyrics for "Right Now" were the best he ever wrote for a Van Halen song. "I was tired of writing cheap sex songs," he recalled almost two decades later. "Eddie and I wanted to get serious and talk about world issues." Different edits of the video had been used in Van Halen's 2004 tour to make more explicitly political statements in later years.

"Right Now" is an uptempo 1962 jazz/ pop song with music by Herbie Mann and lyrics by Carl Sigman. As a jazz instrumental, it was the title track of Right Now, a 1962 bossa nova-style album by Mann. Later that same year, with lyrics by Sigman, the song was popularised by jazz singer Mel Tormé on his album Comin' Home Baby! and was the B-side of the single featuring the title track.

It has since been covered in a variety of pop styles including recordings by Siouxsie Sioux and her second band The Creatures who scored a top 15 hit single in the UK charts in 1983 and the Pussycat Dolls in 2005.

Right Now is an album by former Furious Five members, Grandmaster Mele Mel and Scorpio. The album was released on April 8, 1997 for Str8 Game Records and was produced by Mele Mel and Scorpio. The album was a critical and commercial failure and did not make it to the billboard charts. Two singles were released "Mama" and "Mr. Big Stuff" but neither of the two made it the billboard charts either.

The European release had the interview snippets removed and the track listing altered. The front and rear artwork was also reversed.

Right Now is the only album released by the American country music band Rushlow, a band fronted by former Little Texas vocalist Tim Rushlow. Right Now produced two singles for the band on the Hot Country Songs charts: "I Can't Be Your Friend" at #16 and "Sweet Summer Rain" at #42. Additionally, the title track was later recorded by Dean Miller on his 2005 album Platinum. "I Can't Be Your Friend" was covered by DHT on their 2005 album Listen to Your Heart.

The members of Rushlow parted ways in 2003, although Rushlow and acoustic guitarist/banjoist Doni Harris, who is Rushlow's cousin, reunited in 2006 to form a duo called Rushlow Harris. The duo released two singles for Show Dog Nashville that year.

The song was also remixed by mash-up artist DJ Earworm.

The album is notable for its blending of Sotti’s backgrounds as a jazz musician, hip-hop producer, and pop songwriter across collaborations with Shaggy, Ice T, Tony Grey, Mino Cinelu, Zucchero, Melanie Fiona, Isabella Lundgren, M1 of Dead Prez, and more.

The album was recorded at Fabrizio’s Sotti Studios in NYC and mixed at Piety Studios in New Orleans by legendary engineer John Fishback, while Sotti produced and arranged all of the songs on the album.
