(also known as The Avenging Demon or Kamen Rider 4) is a fictional character, an anti-heroic protagonist from the tokusatsu television series, Kamen Rider V3. He was the first Kamen Rider to wield personal weapons, and the first (and thus far only) Kamen Rider whose face is partially exposed while transformed. He is portrayed by credited as in the original V3 series.
The character appeared in five episodes of Kamen Rider (Skyrider), with Yamaguchi reprising the role in only one episode. In the subsequent four episodes, Riderman was portrayed by assorted suit actors, including , alongside various voice actors. After Yamaguchi's death, Riderman returned in episodes 41-47 of Kamen Rider Black RX, where he was portrayed by suit actor and voiced by . Takaiwa later reprised the role in Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker, in conjunction with Iwai Junichi. Musician Gackt portrayed an alternate reality version of Joji Yuki in All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker, as well as in the music video for his single " The Next Decade".
In 2009, Kyoto University students hacked the Dr. Orita Statue to resemble Riderman. They have performed other similar acts in the past to make the statue appear to be other figures of Japanese popular culture.
Emery Gatsinzi, better known by his stage name Riderman, is a Rwandan musician and rapper. The artist has released four full-length studio albums as of 2013 under his label Ibisumizi in partnership with his producers, T. Brown, First Boy and Fazzo.
