Ptenoglossa \Pte`no*glos"sa\, n. pl. [NL., fr. Gr.? feathered + ? tongue.] (Zo["o]l.) A division of gastropod mollusks having the teeth of the radula arranged in long transverse rows, somewhat like the barbs of a feather.
