Wikipedia
Neurophilic

In neuroscience, a neurophilic substance is one that has an affinity for nervous tissue, often involving a type of tangential cell migration. Neurophilic migration is (heterotypic) cellular migration in which the cells migrate in close apposition to axonal fascicles as opposed to chain migration (homotypic) when the cells migrate in close contact to each other without using a glial or neuronal scaffold.

Usage examples of "neurophilic".

The neurophilic metallo-organic molecules concentrated in the cerebrum, and had such a particular affinity for the optic nerve that as they invaded and destroyed the retina they continued growing all around the eye, over the white and the iris, locking the eyelids open.
