It is the "lesser evil" in the Lesser of two evils (or lesser evil) principle, which provides that when given two bad choices, the one which is not as bad as the other should be chosen over the one that is the greater threat.
Necessary Evil, is the fifth solo album by the American singer Deborah Harry. Released in September 2007, it is her first solo album in fourteen years.
