Mudar \Mu"dar\, n. [Hind. mad[=a]r.] (Bot.) Either one of two asclepiadaceous shrubs ( Calotropis gigantea, and Calotropis procera), which furnish a strong and valuable fiber. The acrid milky juice is used medicinally. [Also spelled madar and muddar.]
