Lucuma \Lu*cu"ma\, n. (Bot.) An American genus of sapotaceous trees bearing sweet and edible fruits.

Note: Lucuma mammosum is called natural marmalade in the West Indies; Lucuma Caimito, of Peru, furnishes a delicious fruit called lucuma and caimito.
