Lophozosterops
Lophozosterops is a genus of bird in the white-eye family Zosteropidae. The six species are distributed across the islands of Indonesia and the Philippines. They are a generally large white-eyes, ranging in size from 12-14 cm in length and weighing between 14-30 g. The species generally have restricted distributions, being restricted to a single island or a few islands, but no species is considered to be globally threatened. It contains the following species:
- Crested white-eye (Lophozosterops dohertyi)
- Mindanao white-eye (Lophozosterops goodfellowi)
- Mees's white-eye (Lophozosterops javanicus)
- Grey-hooded white-eye (Lophozosterops pinaiae)
- Streak-headed white-eye (Lophozosterops squamiceps)
- Cream-browed white-eye (Lophozosterops superciliaris)
