- Lophotus capellei Temminck & Schlegel, 1845 (North Pacific crestfish or unicornfish)
- Lophotus guntheri R. M. Johnston, 1883 (crested bandfish)
- Lophotus lacepede Giorna, 1809 (crested oarfish)
