Lookhi is a village located in Kosli tehsil, Rewari district, Haryana.

The village history is glorious it was known by the name Lakhipur but with time its name shortened to Lookhi. It is situated on the Kosli – Kanina road and is equidistant from both cities. It is a large village with an approximate population of 6000 to 8000. This village has an Arya Samaj temple, the temple was paved in 1957 by prospective Arya of village. Hawan and certain cultural activities also performed in Arya Samaj temple for the peace and calmness of village.The village is known for its vast contribution in the movement of Indian independence. Over 25 residents of Lookhi participated in the Indian independence movement.

The village has a school up to class 10. The village school was earlier up to class 10 with excellent result in entire district. Now the school has been upgraded to Senior Secondary School. This village gives many airmen to Indian Airforce. People of the village have strong agricultural assets and all live in harmony. In 2010 Lookhi gave many J.B.T. teachers or POLICE Men to delhi police in circle it knows by the village of teachers. There are many gotras in this like- Koslia, Bamhania, Latiwal, Gharwal, Sehlangia, Jhagrolia, etc. Koslia is the biggest group in village. There are 17 gotras in the village.
