Litvínovice
Litvínovice (German Leitnowitz) is a village and municipality ( obec) in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 1,941 (as at 31 December 2007).
Litvínovice lies approximately south-west of České Budějovice and south of Prague. On February 11, 1929 in Litvínovice was recorded the lowest temperature ever in Czech Republic of −42.2 °C.
