What is "lasiocampoidea"

Lasiocampoidea is the superfamily of "lappet moths", containing two families of small to very large moths. The Lasiocampidae have a global distribution, while the Anthelidae ("Australian lappet moths") are found only in Australia and New Zealand. About 158 genera are known.

The group is closely related to the Bombycoidea and sometimes merged therein.
