Usage examples of "kone".

Tonto, eyes never leaving the kone, hopped to the ground and eased toward the entrance.

The massive kone rolled back on his well-padded knees and remained at eye level with the humans.

The kone cast her helmet to the ground and swept Buccari into the air like a babe.

Another kone galloped forward, smaller, probably a female but still more than twice the size of a human.

The scientist, a very large and powerful kone, was pinned with considerable difficulty to the floor by six brutes.

The kone inhaled deeply and fell back on his elephantine haunches as if to spring.

Her brain registered the familiar voice she had heard earlier, and she looked wonderingly out to the other kone hanging in the distance.

Occasionally a pole tip would dip and bend nervously, and the suited kone would lumber over and reel in a wriggling fish.

With renewed fury, the towering beasts overwhelmed the valiant kone, ripping and tearing his body maniacally, crushing his helmet from his head.

Hudson responded, but the kone held up his hand and said something loud and curt.

She covered the reclining kone with animal skins, wondering how he could be comfortable lying in the sun under layers of fur.

Tonto turned and, seeing Buccari awake, hopped away from the kone, stowing his bow and returning the short arrow to its quiver.

A single shot exploded from his weapon, and the lead kone dropped like a sack of sand.

The human raised her hand in greeting, and the kone, rising onto her hinds, replied in kind.
