What is "komna"

Komna is a karst mountain plateau in the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia. It has an elevation from to . It has a triangular shape and raises above the Bohinj Basin. To the east, it leads into the Triglav Lakes Valley. The lowest unofficially measured temperatures in Slovenia have been recorded at Komna, reaching in January 2009.

The Komna Mountain Hut is situated at Komna at an elevation of . It is owned by the Ljubljana–Matica Mountaineering Club.
