Jibbing

Jib \Jib\, v. t. & i. [imp. & p. p. Jibbed; p. pr. & vb. n. Jibbing.] Also Jibb \Jibb\ [Cf. Jib a sail, Gybe.] (Chiefly Naut.) To shift, or swing round, as a sail, boom, yard, etc., as in tacking.
