Hovězí is a village and municipality ( obec) in Vsetín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. The name of the village, translated to English, is literally "beef".
The municipality covers an area of , and has a population of 2,407 (as at 28 August 2006).
Hovězí lies on the Vsetínská Bečva river, approximately south-east of Vsetín, east of Zlín, and east of Prague.
