What is "hordeivirus"

n. Any of the genus (taxlink Hordeivirus genus) of plant viruses, consisting of a non-enveloped, helical, rod-shaped capsid.

Hordeivirus is a genus of viruses, in the family Virgaviridae. Plants serve as natural hosts. There are currently four species in this genus including the type species Barley stripe mosaic virus.
