Hi-Five

Hi-Five is an American R&B quintet based in Waco, Texas. Hi-Five had a #1 hit on Billboard's Hot 100 in the early 1990s with " I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)". The band was formed in 1989, and consisted of the late Tony Thompson, Roderick "Pooh" Clark, Marcus Sanders, Russell Neal, and Toriano Easley. Easley was later replaced by Treston Irby.

"Hi-Five" is the fifth single by Japanese rock act Superfly, and was the last single released prior to the band's debut self-titled album. The main track was used in promotions for au's " LISMO" service in April 2008. The B-sides for the physical release of the album were three of the four tracks from their 2007 iTunes Store set released as Live from Tokyo. "Hi-Five" ultimately reached the number 30 spot on the Oricon charts, while it went to number 7 on the Japan Hot 100.

Hi-Five is the eponymous debut album by the American R&B vocal group Hi-Five. Released on September 25, 1990, The album peaked at number thirty eight on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Driven by the hit singles "I Just Can't Handle It" (R&B #10), " I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)" (#1 R&B/Pop), " I Can't Wait Another Minute" (R&B #1, Pop #8) and "Just Another Girlfriend" (R&B #41), the album received an RIAA platinum certification. Also, Hi-Five is the only album to feature original Hi-Five member Toriano Easley, who was later arrested for both first-degree murder after a confrontation with an acquaintance and manslaughter. Also, Easley (as a former background singer of the group) had previously marked his both only single cover and music video appearances from the debut album with the group, "I Just Can't Handle It" before his expulsion from the group.
