Hezekiah (; Hebrew: ; ; , Ezekias, in the Septuagint; ; also transliterated as Ḥizkiyyahu or Ḥizkiyyah) was, according to the Hebrew Bible, the son of Ahaz and the 13th king of Judah. Archaeologist Edwin Thiele has concluded that his reign was between c. 715 and 686 BC. He is also one of the most prominent kings of Judah mentioned in the Hebrew Bible and is one of the kings mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew.

According to the Hebrew Bible, Hezekiah witnessed the destruction of the northern Kingdom of Israel by Sargon's Assyrians in c. 720 BC and was king of Judah during the invasion and siege of Jerusalem by Sennacherib in 701 BC. Hezekiah enacted sweeping religious reforms, including a strict mandate for the sole worship of Yahweh and a prohibition on venerating other deities within the Temple in Jerusalem. Isaiah and Micah prophesied during his reign.

Hezekiah (Khazar)

Hezekiah ben Obadiah was the ruler of the Khazars, probably in the mid ninth century CE. He was the son of Obadiah, the descendant of Bulan who brought rabbinical scholars to and built yeshivot in Khazaria. Little is known about Hezekiah's reign. As with other Bulanid rulers, it is unclear whether Hezekiah was Khagan or Khagan Bek of the Khazars, although the latter is more likely.

Hezekiah was succeeded by his son Menasseh I.

Hezekiah (Amora)

Hezekiah (or '''Hizkiyah b. Hiyya ' or Hezekiah ben Hiyya; Hebrew: חזקיה or חזקיה בן חייא; cited in the Talmud simply as Hezekiah) was a Jewish Amora sage of the Land of Israel of the second generation of the Amoraic era. He was the son of R. Hiyya and the teacher Rabbi of R. Yochanan bar Nafcha, and he is the same simple "Hezekiah''" that is cited so many times in the Talmud.

According to Rashi he is also considered a Tanna, as well as according to the opinion of the Tosafot.

Amonog his colleagues were Rabbi Yannai, who was older than him, Bar Kappara, Rav Kahana I, and R. Joshua ben Levi.

Among his most prominent pupils was R. Yochanan bar Nafcha, and as long as Hezekiah was present, Yochanan bar Nafcha was not appointed as dean of the Yeshiva out of respect for his teacher-Rabbi.

His Beth midrash was located at Tiberias, and it is storied that he used to recite the Megillah ( Book of Esther) on both fourteenth and fifteenth of the Hebrew month of Adar, due to an Halakhic issue, wherein the Megillah must be read on the fourteenth in walled cities, and in the fifteenth in cities not walled since the days of Joshua bin Nun, and he was not sure whether Tiberias was walled during the days of Joshua

Hezekiah (rapper)

Hezekiah (born Hezekiah Davis III) is an American music producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, music video director and founder of the producer showcase, Beat Society. Hezekiah was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and raised in New Castle, Delaware. He currently resides in Philadelphia. His first album Hurry Up & Wait was released in 2005 on Soulspazm Records. In 2007, his second album I Predict a Riot was released jointly by Soulspazm Records and Rawkus Records before Rawkus folded but was re-released again by Soulspazm Records. His third album Conscious Porn was released in 2010. In 2011, he teamed up with west coast producer and artist Ishe to release the Ishe + Hezekiah Project. While working in the studio with his friend and producer Tone Whitfield the duo created the persona Johnny Popcorn to release alternative rock/soul music. In 2011, they released the EP entitled Hezekiah & Tone Whitfield are Johnny Popcorn. This project was followed by the 2012 by Johnny Popcorn album The Crow. The Crow lead to Hezekiah forming a permanent five member band that tours the United States as Johnny Popcorn. Hezekiah’s fourth solo album entitled Dreams Don’t Chase Themselves will be released in the summer of 2014. The next Johnny Popcorn release, which is untitled, is slated for 2014.

Hezekiah has produced for Zap Mama, Eric Roberson, Kindred the Family Soul, Blu, Wordsworth, Bahamadia, Conya Doss, and Chief Kamanchi.

Hezekiah's production has been featured in TV and films. He has scored for the 2002–2003 Showtime series Street Time. In 2008, he co-produced the score for the PBS documentary First Person. Hezekiah provided the score for the AND 1 basketball documentary.

Hezekiah has written songs for singing artist Bilal. The songs include "Think It Over" (2010) from Bilal's Airtight's Revenge and "Back to Love" (2013), "Winning Hand" (2013), and "Climbing" (2013) on Bilal's A Love Surreal.
