Grizzly is the name of four unrelated fictional characters appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. One is a wild west villain, one is an A.I.M. Agent, one is a foe of Spider-Man, and the fourth is a mutant who was a member of Six Pack.

Grizzly (1976 film)

Grizzly (also known as Killer Grizzly) is a 1976 thriller film directed by William Girdler, about a 15-foot tall, man-eating grizzly bear that terrorizes a National Forest. It stars Christopher George, Andrew Prine and Richard Jaeckel. Widely considered a Jaws rip-off, Grizzly used many of the same plot devices as its shark predecessor, a huge box office success during the previous year 1975.

In 1983, a sequel Grizzly II: The Predator was shot, but never released. The abortive project provided early roles for both Charlie Sheen and George Clooney. The giant grizzly bear in the film was portrayed by a bear named Teddy who was 11 ft. tall.

Grizzly (Kings Dominion)

Grizzly is a wooden roller coaster at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. The grounds of the ride are densely forested, with the intended thrills heightened from the illusion of inadequate clearance between the track and trees. The attraction opened in 1982, and the double-figure-eight layout is based closely on the defunct Coney Island Wildcat. A similar version of this ride operates at Canada's Wonderland as Wild Beast.

Grizzly (tobacco)

Grizzly is an American brand of dipping tobacco (moist snuff) that was introduced in 2001 and is made by the American Snuff Company. It is available in pouches, Fine Cut, Long Cut, Wide Cut, and Extra Long Cut.

Grizzly was launched in 2001 at a lower price point and was originally available in Long Cut Wintergreen (Green tin) and Fine Cut Natural (Red tin). By the end of 2006, Long Cut Straight (Maroon tin), Long Cut Mint (Blue tin), Long Cut Natural (Silver tin) and Fine Cut Wintergreen (Olive tin) were also introduced. Snuff and Wintergreen Pouches were released in 2008, and also began an attempt to change its market position into a premium brand. Metal lids became standard in 2010, replacing the previous all-plastic cans. Wide Cut Wintergreen was released in 2014 and Dark Wintergreen Long Cut and Pouches were released in 2015.

As of December 2014, Grizzly was cited as the flagship brand of Reynolds American with a 31.1% market share in snuff brands.

It was created by a Canadian only known by the pseudo name "Matthew" and told The Verge that he is in his late 20s, and his main job is making tools for the construction industry.
