bebeeru \be*bee"ru\ (b[-e]*b[=e]"r[udd]), n. [Written also bibiru.] [Native name.] (Bot.) A tropical South American tree ( Nectandra Rodi[oe]i), the bark of which yields the alkaloid bebeerine, and the wood of which is known as green heart.
