Ginglymus \Gin"gly*mus\, n.; pl. Ginglymi. [NL., fr. Gr. ? a hingelike joint, a ball and socket joint.] (Anat.) A hinge joint; an articulation, admitting of flexion and extension, or motion in two directions only, as the elbow and the ankle.
