Fisher Island (Queensland)

Fisher Island is an island in the Piper Islands National Park in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Queensland, Australia. It is located in Temple Bay about 100 km northeast of Iron Range National Park and Lockhart River and 50 km south of Cape Grenville. The island, along with neighbouring Baird, Beesley and Farmer Islands, constitutes the Piper Islands Important Bird Area, so identified by BirdLife International because of its importance as a breeding site for pied imperial pigeons and black noddies.

Fisher Island (Tasmania)

Fisher Island is a small granite island, with an area of 0.9 ha, in south-eastern Australia. It is part of Tasmania’s Great Dog Island Group, lying in eastern Bass Strait between Flinders and Cape Barren Islands in the Furneaux Group. It is the site of a long-term, ongoing study of short-tailed shearwaters.

Fisher Island (Antarctica)

Fisher Island is an ice-covered island long, lying just North of Edward VII Peninsula where it marks the Western side of the entrance to Sulzberger Bay. Mapped from surveys by the USGS and U.S. Navy air photos (1959–65). Named in 1966 by US-ACAN for Wayne Fisher of the United States Department of State.
