Fegen (lake)

Fegen is a lake and nature reserve in Sweden. The lake has a surface area of 24 km and a maximum depth of 38 meters. The lake is situated in the traditional provinces (landskap in Swedish) Halland, Småland and Västergötland. Their boundaries meet approximately in the middle of the lake.

The village Fegen is located on the south side of the lake, the village Sandvik on the northeast side.

Fegen (locality)

Fegen is a locality situated in Falkenberg Municipality, Halland County, Sweden, with 183 inhabitants in 2005. The village is located at the south shore of lake Fegen, close to the nature reserve Fegen. The country road 153 from Varberg to Värnamo goes through the village.

The area around the village is dominated by forests, partly marshy and lakes.
