Elwood (dog)

Elwood was the 2007 winner of the World's Ugliest Dog Contest, and had come in second in the contest the year before. His owner was Karen Quigley, a resident of Sewell, New Jersey, United States. He was a two-year-old Chinese Crested/ chihuahua mixed breed. Elwood died on November 28, 2013. He was eight years old.

Elwood (American musician)

Elwood is the musical project/collaboration of singer-songwriters Prince Elwood Strickland III and co-producer and songwriter Brian Boland. (born in the U.S. state of North Carolina) worked as a recording engineer at Soho's Greene Street Recording Facility where he and Boland met, working with artists such as Tricky, Mos Def, De La Soul, and Adam Yauch. Elwood worked with producer Steve Lillywhite on their debut album The Parlance Of Our Time, which was co-released on Palm Pictures and Lillywhite's label, Gobstopper.

Elwood's cover of Gordon Lightfoot's song Sundown peaked (July 8, 2000) at #33 on the Billboard Magazine Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Elwood's first album, The Parlance Of Our Time, was released May 16, 2000 and contains the following tracks:

Elwood (foaled 1901 in Missouri) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse that is best remembered for winning the 1904 Kentucky Derby and for being the first horse both bred and owned by a woman to win the Derby.
