]] Edgewood is located in eastern Cranston, Rhode Island. It borders Warwick to the southwest, Providence to the north, and Narragansett Bay to the east. To the south it borders Pawtuxet Village.
Edgewood is a suburban neighborhood bordering Providence's Washington Park. The area of Edgewood has several National Historic districts. One of the grandest is the Norwood Avenue Historic District . The neighborhood features broad, tree-lined streets; some of these blossoming trees were donated by philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein. The area is known for its many large and beautiful Victorian homes. Edgewood is also home to Nationally recognized inns, Edgewood Manor Inn (The Samuel Priest House c 1905) and the Charles Newhall House Inn c1892 both meticulously restored by businessman/preservationist Andrew Lombardi. Edgewood Yacht Club, Rhode Island Yacht Club, Port Edgewood, and the Pawtuxet Cove Marinas are all within the borders of Edgewood, Rhode Island.

Edgewood is a historic home located at Frederick, Frederick County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story multipart limestone farmhouse featuring narrow courses of native stone. The house was constructed and added to over the 18th and 19th century and reflects the Greek Revival style popular at that time. It is associated with the Schley family, prominent 19th century residents of Frederick County, who held the farm from 1830 until 1911.
Edgewood was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
Edgewood is a historic farm complex located at Wingina, Nelson County, Virginia. Structures located on the property document its evolution as a plantation and farm since the late-18th century. It includes the main house ruins, a house built about 1790 and destroyed by fire in 1955; the circa 1820 Tucker Cottage; an 18th-century dovecote, dairy, and smokehouse; an 1828 icehouse; an early 19th-century corncrib; and a mid-19th-century barn or granary. Also on the property are a circa 1940’s tenant house (now a woodworking shop) and machine shed, a family cemetery, and an original well. The structures are all located along the gravel driveway.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.
Edgewood, also known as the Thomas House, is a historic Federal-style house in Montgomery, Alabama. The two-story frame building was built in 1821 by Zachariah T. Watkins. It is the oldest surviving residence in Montgomery. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 24, 1973.
Edgewood, also known as the John Boyd House, is a historic home located at Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1839 and is a two-story, five-bay, brick dwelling with a gable roof in the Greek Revival style. The entrance features a semi-elliptical transom and sidelights. The building has a two-story rear ell. The property includes a small log slave cabin.
The house was built by General Elisha Boyd for his son John as the plantation house for the 1,400 acre Edgewood Manor plantation. During the American Civil War, John Boyd served in the Confederate Army and was captured when he visited home. He was nearly executed, but for the intervention of President Zachary Taylor's daughter, Mrs. Dandridge. Also during the war, General Stonewall Jackson camped on the lawn. Confederate General J. Johnston Pettigrew (July 4, 1828 – July 17, 1863) died in an upstairs bedroom at Edgewood after having been shot at Falling Waters during the retreat from the Battle of Gettysburg.
The Boyd family lost the house after the Civil War, but many subsequent owners maintained it. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, as was the nearby John Drinker House, which may have served as a stop on the Underground Railroad.
