Duplicate proportion or Duplicate ratio (Math.), the proportion or ratio of squares. Thus, in geometrical proportion, the first term to the third is said to be in a duplicate ratio of the first to the second, or as its square is to the square of the second. Duplicate (1998 film)

Duplicate is an Indian Bollywood action comedy film released on 8 May 1998. The movie was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and stars Shahrukh Khan in a double role opposite Juhi Chawla and Sonali Bendre. It was produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and marks Shahrukh's first of five collaborations with the production company. The storyline is similar to the 1935 movie The Whole Town's Talking. Hollywood film The One starring Jet Li has similiraities with this film.

Duplicate is a 2009 Malayalam film directed by Shibu Prabhakar and produced by Sajai Sebastian and Joji K. John under the banner of Zion International Film Factory with Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead role. This is Suraj's first movie as a hero and he handles a double role in the movie. The film received mixed to negative reviews but highly positive talk from the public mainly due to the comedy and performance of the lead actors.
