Crossfade (band)

Crossfade is an American hard rock band originating from Columbia, South Carolina. Their current members are Ed Sloan on lead vocals and guitar, Les Hall on lead guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals, and Mitch James on backing vocals and bass. Since their formation, Crossfade has released three studio albums – their platinum selling self-titled debut album in 2004, Falling Away in 2006, and We All Bleed in 2011.

Crossfade (album)

Crossfade is the self-titled debut album by the South Carolina band Crossfade. It was released on April 13, 2004, five years after they were formed. The album was also released as a DualDisc CD that includes extra content not found on the original, standard edition. The album was certified Platinum in the United States.

The singles from this album helped launch the band to mainstream success. " Cold" remains the band's biggest hit, reaching #2 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and #3 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks, and is also their only single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, at #81. Follow-up singles "So Far Away" and "Colors" charted in the top 10 of the Mainstream Rock chart, at #4 and #6, respectively. They also hit the top 20 of the Modern Rock chart ("So Far Away" at #14, "Colors" at #18).

Crossfade (Swedish band)

Crossfade is a Swedish rock-pop band; its core members are Lars Hallbäck, Richard Stenström and Göran Edman. The music, according to allmusic is being described as a blend of rock and pop. As stated by The Midland Rocks, "Crossfade don’t succumb to the saminess or pale imitation syndromes that afflicts so many bands in this genre." Adding to the Crossfade sound are well known musicians like singer Göran Edman, (known from Yngwie Malmsteen, Brazen Abbot), drummer Per Lindvall ( ABBA, A-ha), bass player Sven Lindvall ( A-ha, Kullrusk) and saxophone player Wojtek Goral ( Stevie Wonder, Peter Getz) among others.

The first album "White on Blue" was being released in 2004 on the German label MTM and in Japan by Nippon Crown.

Seven years later, the sequel "Secret Love" was released in 2011 on the Songwork label. The album, recorded at Fenix recording studios contains a classic Red Book CD and a disc with the far higher audio quality DVD-Audio, in surround mix format.

According to the band's official website as of April 2012, Crossfade is currently working on new material.

Crossfade (The Remix Album)

Crossfade (The Remix Album) is the first remix album by Swedish pop singer of Iranian origin Arash. It was released in 2006.

The album peaked at number 24 on the Polish Albums Chart. Next to sixteen song remixes of his debut album Arash, it features one new and previously unreleased song, called "Iran Iran", which was produced by DJ Aligator and served as the albums only single release.
